Set Your Cleaning Schedule

Cleaners On Tap gives cleaners full flexibility on their working hours. Setting your own schedule means you can make work fit around you. Understanding how to set your availability will allow you to take full advantage of the platform and maximise bookings around your schedule - ultimately earning you as much as possible. Setting availability correctly is crucial to the success of your cleaning career as customers will be able to book cleans instantly up to 2 days before the clean and of course customers expect their cleaners to be reliable and punctual.

Setting Your Weekly Schedule

Log in to your Cleaners On Tap account.
Click ‘Settings’ from the menu on the left of the page.
Once on the ‘Settings’ page scroll down to ‘Cleaner Schedule’, which will look like the image below.

5. You can now customise your weekly schedule, to add availability on a day simply switch the toggle on and enter the times you are happy to accept cleans. For example in the above image the cleaner is only available on Mondays between 9am and 5pm. You can also have multiple work periods on the same day, perfect to enable you to work before and after existing commitments or if you’d just like to take a long lunch. Before leaving the ‘Settings’ page make sure you click ‘Save Changes’ in the borrow right corner.

The performance section of this page allows you to monitor how much you are earning overall, how much you are earning from particular locations, how much you are earning from certain types of cleans and how much you have earnt in a specific time period. Below this you'll see a day preview giving you a snapshot of the day ahead.

Calendar

The Calendar is perfect for giving you a monthly overview of your booked cleans and your availability. Please call us as soon as possible on 01303 316132 and we'll attempt to assign another cleaner to this clean. Please note we recommend only cancelling if you 100% are unable to complete the clean, Cleaners On Tap reviews cancellations on an individual basis and will remove unreliable cleaners. It is essential cleaners frequently review their availability to ensure they can complete any potential bookings in order to avoid this scenario.

How To Cancel A Clean As A Customer

To cancel a scheduled clean as a customer, you must log into your customer dashboard and select the appointments tab. This is where your upcoming cleans will be displayed and you will have the option to confirm a cancellation here as showed in the photo above. Please note, you also have the option to cancel or manage your upcoming bookings via the confirmation email you have received for them. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the booking will receive a full refund. Cancellations made more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking.

How long will my refund take?

Refunds will be returned to the original payment card and may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.
