Here’s what to do if something wasn’t quite right:
📞 1. Let Your Cleaner Know
If anything was missed or not done properly, please speak directly with your cleaner. Most cleaners appreciate the opportunity to fix issues on the spot.
You can say:
- “I noticed a few things were missed—could we go over them together?”
- “Would you be able to take another look at [specific area]?”
Clear, respectful communication usually helps resolve most issues right away.
🤝 2. Work Together to Find a Fair Resolution
Your cleaner will do their best to address any valid concerns. This might include:
- Re-cleaning missed areas
- Adjusting the time or scope of the clean
- Reaching out to Cleaners On Tap for support if needed
Most situations can be resolved quickly and respectfully when addressed directly. If you're still not satisfied after the clean, please contact us within 24 hours.
🛠️ 3. Still Not Resolved? We’ll Investigate
If the issue can’t be resolved directly, Cleaners On Tap will review the situation.
Here’s what to expect:
- We’ll gather information from both you and the cleaner
- You may be asked to provide photos or a description of the issue
- After reviewing the facts, we’ll determine whether the clean met our standards
👉 If we find that the clean was not sufficient, we may suggest a resolution such as:
- A return visit to address missed areas
- A partial refund
- A credit toward a future clean
If the clean meets our standards, we’ll explain our findings and close the case fairly.

While we facilitate communication and help mediate disputes, Cleaners On Tap is not the direct provider of cleaning services and is not liable for refunds or service outcomes. Any refund or resolution will depend on the outcome of our investigation and the cleaner’s agreement.
