Set Your Cleaning Schedule



Cleaners On Tap gives cleaners full flexibility on their working hours. Setting your own schedule means you can make work fit around you. Understanding how to set your availability will allow you to take full advantage of the platform and maximise bookings around your schedule - ultimately earning you as much as possible. Setting availability correctly is crucial to the success of your cleaning career as customers will be able to book cleans instantly up to 2 days before the clean and of course customers expect their cleaners to be reliable and punctual.

Setting Your Weekly Schedule

Log in to your Cleaners On Tap account.
Click ‘Settings’ from the menu on the left of the page.
Once on the ‘Settings’ page scroll down to ‘Cleaner Schedule’, which will look like the image below.

5. You can now customise your weekly schedule, to add availability on a day simply switch the toggle on and enter the times you are happy to accept cleans. For example in the above image the cleaner is only available on Mondays between 9am and 5pm. You can also have multiple work periods on the same day, perfect to enable you to work before and after existing commitments or if you’d just like to take a long lunch. Before leaving the ‘Settings’ page make sure you click ‘Save Changes’ in the borrow right corner.
Your weekly schedule is complete! Please note removing a day from your schedule will only prevent future bookings being made and will not cancel existing bookings on that day.

Days With Custom Schedules

This can be found just below the ‘Cleaner Schedule’. Setting days with custom schedules is ideal for adding an irregular event/appointment to your calendar, avoiding you having to add this as a day off, as a result maximising your income.

To do this just click ‘Add Day’, then select ‘Single Day’ or ‘Date Range’ if the event is going to affect several work days. Next select the date(s), the times you are available to clean and then ‘Save Schedule’. Before leaving the ‘Settings’ page make sure you click ‘Save Changes’ in the borrow right corner. You’ll then be able to see the day with custom schedule, for example in the image below the cleaner is available on the 12th of December between 8am and 12pm.

Holidays & Days Off

This feature enables you to block a whole day or days in your calendar from being booked. This tool allows you complete flexibility in booking time off, from a day off for your birthday to booking long term time off for travel. To do this just click ‘Add Day’, then select ‘Single Day’ or ‘Date Range’ if the event is going to affect several work days. Next select the date(s) you’d like to block and then ‘Set as Day Off’. Before leaving the ‘Settings’ page make sure you click ‘Save Changes’ in the borrow right corner. For example the cleaner in the image below has blocked the 9th of January and the 1st - 15th of March.
